Riley Strain, a University of Missouri student who was missing in Nashville for nearly two weeks, has been found dead. The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed Friday that Strain’s body had been recovered from the Cumberland River approximately 8 miles west of downtown. Officers said “no foul play-related trauma was observed" and an autopsy is pending. Strain's parents spoke hours after his body was found, thanking the public for their assistance.
