A jury in Michigan has heard closing arguments and started deliberating in the case of a Michigan school shooter's father. Deliberations will resume Thursday. The prosecutor told jurors Wednesday that James Crumbley had a “legal duty” to prevent Ethan Crumbley from harming others at Oxford High School, especially when he knew about apparent mental health problems. James Crumbley is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of four students in 2021. He's accused of failing to secure a gun at home and doing nothing when confronted with signs of his son's mental distress. Crumbley's defense attorney says the father had no idea what his son would do.
