A tornado was spotted near Alta Vista, Kansas, on Wednesday, March 13, as severe thunderstorms moved through the region. On Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed “multiple tornadoes” touched down in northeast Kansas, causing damage between Dwight and Alta Vista.
