Former president Donald Trump is overseeing what some have labeled a 'bloodbath' at the Republican National Committee as Trump-backed leadership has slashed dozens of RNC staffers. This comes as RNC new leaders hand picked by Trump laid off more than 60 party officials in recent days, about 1/5 of all RNC employees. Many are being replaced by Trump loyalists suggesting that Trump intends to essentially merge the party and his campaign organization.
