It is time to spring forward, daylight saving time starts Saturday overnight. Research shows that time changes can cause sleep disruptions and other health problems. Stephanie Stahl reports ways to make the time change less disruptive. Doctors said going to bed a little earlier Friday night and through the weekend will help make the time change a little easier. It's an hour less of sleep Saturday night with the beginning of daylight saving time that starts at 2 a.m. Sunday. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine said daylight saving time increases the risk of motor vehicle accidents, medical errors, heart attacks ,strokes and mood disturbances.
