Authorities are investigating a deadly plane crash after a small aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing near Interstate 40 in West Nashville. The crash occurred near I-40 east at Mile Marker 203, three miles from John C. Tune Airport. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) reports the five people on board the flight are dead as a result of the crash.
