A judge in Atlanta will hear arguments today by lawyers from Trump and other co-defendants over whether to disqualify District Attorney Fannie Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade from the Georgia election subversion case today. Defense attorneys main concern is a conflict of interest because Willis and Wade had a relationship and took trips together, though Willis testified under oath that she always paid her own way for those trips. Another big question here is the timing of this relationship. Both Willis and Wade said the relationship started in 2022, but defense attorneys have submitted additional phone records showing that Wade called Willis about 2,000 times in 2021. ------------------------------------- Join our newsletter at https://bit.ly/2q1tepr Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/scrippsnews/ Follow us on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/scrippsnews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/scrippsnews/ Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@scrippsnews
