The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) says it did not attack Palestinian civilians who rushed a humanitarian aid convoy, resulting in dozens of deaths. "Several hundreds of people were storming the truckloads going north, basically taking everything they could grab," IDF Lt. Col. Peter Lerner said. "This created a state of complete chaos." "We did not fire on the convoy, we did not attack the convoy," Lt. Col. Lerner added. More than 100 people were ultimately killed and more than 700 others were injured in the chaos, bringing the number of dead since the start of the Israel-Hamas war to more than 30,000 with another 70,000 wounded, according to Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry. LiveNOW's Andrew Craft spoke about the claims with IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner.
