A fraction (20%) of the government will shut down at 11:59 p.m. Friday if Congress doesn’t take any action regarding spending. It’s the fourth time since September that lawmakers have been up against this type of deadline. Senators returned to Capitol Hill Monday but the House doesn't return from recess until Wednesday, leaving only three days to find a compromise to avoid a partial shutdown. At the moment there are no signs of a solution.
