Donald Trump won the Republican presidential primary in Nikki Haley’s home state of South Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 24. Haley, the Palmetto state's former governor, vowed to stay in the race through Super Tuesday, which means she will be a candidate in the North Carolina Republican presidential primary. But her chances are not great, according to Western Carolina University Political Science Professor Chris Cooper.
