Four people, including two minors, were charged in connection to a mass shooting after the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade that left one person dead and at least 22 injured.
The big picture: Two adults were charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said on Tuesday.
- The adults charged are each being held on a $1 million bond and face potential life sentences, Peters Baker said.
- The two minors who had been charged on Thursday were being held on gun-related and resisting arrest charges.
- The shooting on Feb. 14 appeared to stem from a dispute between several people and had "no nexus to terrorism or homegrown violent extremism," police said.
Details: Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a mother of two and a prominent Hispanic DJ, died as a result of the shooting.
- At least half of the victims were under 16.
