At least 100 first responders and supporters gathered outside Hennepin Healthcare hospital in Minneapolis on Sunday to stand by as the bodies of two Burnsville police officers and one paramedic were loaded into vehicles to be transported to the office of the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. They were identified by the city as officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, both age 27, and 40-year-old firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth. Another officer, Sgt. Adam Medlicott, was injured and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not believe to be life threatening. The three were fatally shot early Sunday morning while responding to a domestic abuse call for assistance in the south Twin Cities suburb. Officials say the shooter is dead and there is no ongoing threat. Video taken by Nicole Ki.
