Thousands of Massachusetts residents -- mostly on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard -- are still in the dark after Tuesday's storm. Eversource has been working all night on the Cape and Martha's Vineyard to restore power to thousands. At the peak of the storm, nearly 23,000 lost power across the state. In Buzzards Bay, some families lit candles and used battery operated lights while others cranked on their generators. In Marshfield, high tide caused afternoon flooding along the coast. Water sprayed the seawall and homes along Ocean Street. We also saw massive waves pummeling a neighborhood in Brant Rock. A teen who didn't have school Tuesday used part of the day to help his neighbors. "I’m taking the rake and raking out storm drains. As water comes over the wall, lots of seaweed and debris comes with it, and that can clog drains," said William Jones. The town manager said the storm was a mild to moderate nor'easter for Marshfield, and no damage was reported.
