The group "Take our Border back Convoy" drove many miles to San Ysidro, as part of a nationwide effort to address security along U.S.-Mexico border. The group that came to San Diego Saturday started in Virginia Beach and has traveled across the country to address the nation's border security and to call for the end of illegal immigration. “Good days of America didn't bring us here," event attendee Narek Palyan said. "It's the bad days, its the bad happenings that brought us here." Palyan said it's not just "regular people" coming in. He is one of several who showed up to make their voices heard on issues that concern them. “Country's borders are wide open and there's all sorts of people coming in and like president Trump would say, they are not sending their best,” Palyan said. The Revolutionary Communist Party — also known as REVCOM — showed up in opposition and went to the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
