The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an officer shot and killed a carjacking suspect at Palisades Tahoe Friday. According to a news release from California State Parks, it started around 10 a.m. when a State Park Peace Officer (SPPO) tried to stop a vehicle involved in a Tahoe City carjacking.
