The LA Innocence Project will be taking up the case of Scott Peterson, a man convicted of killing his pregnant wife, Laci, and their unborn baby on Christmas Eve in 2002. Peterson's attorney confirmed to KCRA 3 Thursday the Innocence Project's involvement in the case New motions have been filed in the case for a post-conviction discovery, sealed court records, DNA testing and exhibits in support of the DNA testing Peterson was accused of killing Laci and the unborn baby they planned to name Conner and dumping the bodies in the San Francisco Bay.
