Cloud cover will return Sunday morning as our next weather disturbance arrives. A weak area of low-pressure will drop in from the northwest, ushering in scattered snow showers for New Year's Eve. Snow will occur periodically throughout the afternoon and early evening, growing more sparse after dark. Most areas will dry out for New Year's Eve celebrations, but a couple flurries may linger as the clock strikes midnight. Temperatures will be in the low-30s as the ball drops to welcome in 2024.
