The Justice Department is reviewing the discovery of classified documents held by Joe Biden since the end of his vice presidency in 2017 in at least two locations, including one of his Delaware homes, Attorney General Merrick Garland confirmed Thursday. The second set was found more recently in a garage at Biden’s home in Wilmington. Garland said he has appointed former U.S. attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to review the storage of the documents. Following his appointment, Hur said in a statement, “I will conduct the assigned investigation with fair, impartial, and dispassionate judgment.” Read more about the special counsel: https://ti.me/3k0v59p Subscribe to TIME’s YouTube channel ►► http://ti.me/subscribe-time Subscribe to TIME: https://ti.me/3uwZBtG Get the day’s top headlines to your inbox, curated by TIME editors: http://ti.me/the-brief Follow us: Twitter: https://ti.me/3VZVRMQ Facebook: https://ti.me/3uzo7KJ Instagram: https://ti.me/3ux56s9
