Over 90% of vehicle-owning US households could slash their greenhouse gas emissions as well as their transport costs by switching to electric vehicles. A study published today in the journal Environmental Research Letters maps the change in annual income spent on transport fuels for vehicle-owning US households upon adopting electric vehicles.
