Ukraine's army on Tuesday said it targeted Russian "manpower and military equipment" in Chulakovka in the Kherson region, killing and wounding up to 500 Russian soldiers. Spokesperson Andrii Kovalev said that "on December 31, fire damage was confirmed by units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on manpower and military equipment of the enemy." He also said that another strike against Russian forces was carried out on Sunday in the settlement of Fedorovka, in the Kherson region. He did not specify the number of casualties there. Kovalev added that 13 strikes "on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, as well as five strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems" were carried out by Ukraine in the previous 24 hours. Kovalev also said that 27 Shahed drones were shot down by the Ukrainian forces.
