A 97-year-old woman was found guilty of being an accessory to 11,000 deaths during World War II. Prosecutors in Germany say Irmgard Furchner was 18 when she started working as the secretary to the SS commander of Stutthof concentration camp in occupied Poland. Her trial was held in juvenile court because of her age at the time the alleged crimes occurred. Last year, Furchner was a no-show on the day court proceedings against her were to begin.
