Temperatures dropping overnight ahead of chilly Monday | WTOL 11 Weather

Scattered snow showers will taper off Sunday evening as a low-pressure system moves east of the Great Lakes. As temperatures drop, a few slick spots may develop, mainly on bridges and overpasses, so take it easy on the roads. By the evening hours, temperatures will gradually fall back into the upper 20s with winds of 5 to 10 mph Sunday night. A few areas of patchy black ice are possible for the Monday morning commute. There will be another cold and cloudy start without the sun on Monday morning with temperatures starting out in the mid-20s. Temperatures will only rise a couple of degrees throughout the day, with highs reaching the lower 30s.
