Authorities in Scotland and the U.S. said that the Libyan man suspected of making the bomb that destroyed Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988 is now in U.S. custody. The bombing killed all 259 people on the plane and another 11 on the ground. Victoria Cummock, the wife of one of the plane's passengers, John B.
