The TikTok generation isn't the first group you think of when senior discounts come to mind, but a new report from the Wall Street Journal says Gen Z is wise beyond its years when it comes to money-saving habits. The report found that 20-somethings are becoming new card-carrying members of AARP, otherwise known as the American Association of Retired Persons. Surprisingly, AARP is gaining steam among younger folks. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be over 50 to join the nation's largest nonprofit advocating for the older generation. In fact, AARP doesn't even have an age requirement.
