Democrats had one of the strongest performances for a president's party in a midterm in years. Over the weekend, Democrats clinched two Senate seats in Arizona and Nevada solidifying control of the upper chamber regardless of the outcome of the runoff election in Georgia. Control of the House is still up for grabs. With both Arizona and Nevada going blue, Democrats now have 50 senate seats and a chance to pick up one more in Georgia's December run-off between Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker. In the House, 17 races remain outstanding. Republicans only need six to win control. But before the election, many Republicans were predicting they would gain a huge majority in the House and recapture the Senate in a so-called red wave. Many in the GOP now pointing fingers.
