Hurricane Nicole developed Wednesday as it made landfall on Grand Bahama Island. The storm is bringing a dangerous storm surge and strong winds to Grand Bahama Island. Here at home, a tropical storm warning is in effect for much of the west coast of Florida — including the Tampa Bay area — for possible impacts from gusty winds.
