On the morning after Election Day, the battle for control of the U.S. Senate still appears to be up in the air with a few of the key races still too close to call. Overall, it turned out to be a much better night for Democrats than election analysts had expected. Before the vote, the Senate was divided 50-50 with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tie-breaker giving control of the body to Democrats. With most of the votes counted, the Senate still appears to be deadlocked at 48-48 with a few races still to be decided. Democrats have scored a takeaway from the GOP in Pennsylvania, while Republicans have yet to take a seat from the Democrats.
