President Joe Biden said in a recent 60 Minutes interview that the pandemic is over, a statement that took many by surprise. Do health experts agree that the pandemic is over? William Hanage, associate professor at Harvard School of Public Health and Dr. Megan Ranney, academic dean at Brown School of Public Health, joined Jim Braude to weigh in. Ranney said although we have entered into a new phase of the pandemic where daily life is different than it was in 2020, it’s still too soon to say the pandemic is over.
