FOX 13 Meteorologist Tyler Eliasen is watching Hurricane Fiona as it makes its way across Puerto Rico. Fiona knocked out power as it briefly made landfall on the island. Elisan says Puerto Rico got hit by the messy side of the system and he expects heavy rain to continue for a couple more days. Eliasen said it’s possible Puerto Rico could see more than two feet of rain when it’s all said and done. Eliasen expects Fiona to strengthen as it moves away from Puerto Rico. He says the storm with move north and east and steer clear of the United States. www.MyFOXHurricane.com Get your tropical weather forecast each day during hurricane season from the meteorologists at FOX 13 Tampa Bay and MyFoxHurricane.
