Tropical Storm Fiona is still battling some wind shear and dry air. But some slow strengthening is still forecasted. As of 5 p.m. Thursday, the National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Fiona currently has maximum sustained winds of 60 mph as it continues to move west at 14 mph. Fiona is about 425 miles from the Leeward Islands of the northeastern Caribbean.
