Meteorologist Michelle Morgan has the Sunday tropical update and finally there is some activity to keep an eye on. We've seen an inactive tropics for a little over a month but as expected that's changing. A tropical wave is slowly moving off the coast of Africa and has a medium chance of tropical development in the next 5 days. Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable through the week and a tropical depression may form. The Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean remain quiet. That same wave may develop, but right now long-range models have it staying in the ocean away from the Caribbean Sea and not coming near the US. The next name on the list is Danielle, then Earl.
