Sri Lanka's prime minister has resigned and the country's president is set to step down on Wednesday. Gulbin Sultana of the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses says the speaker of parliament is likely to become interim president of a temporary all-party government before an election is held.
