Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared CCTV footage of the moment a Kremenchuk shopping mall was hit by a Russian missile strike on June 27, 2022, and said the attack was done deliberately. "It is clear that Russian killers received those exact coordinates for this missile (launch). They wanted to kill as many people" as possible, Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on June 28. Ukraine said at least 18 people were killed in the missile strike. Zelenskyy said more than 1,000 people were inside when the missile struck. Moscow said it had struck a nearby arms depot and falsely claimed that the mall was empty.
