2nd suspect wanted in Philadelphia mass shooting arrested by US Marshals
The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has approved arrest warrants for two people following a deadly mass shooting on South Street.
Quran Garner, 18, who is currently in custody, is charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault and aggravated assault on law enforcement. He did not have a license to carry a gun, Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore said.
Philadelphia police say a second suspect was taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service Monday night.
Sources identified the second suspect as Rashaan Vereen, who was seen on video punching Mika Townes who was wearing a black t-shirt.
