2022 will mark the first time since 2014 that we did not have a preseason storm develop. However, we could possibly see some type of development before the end of this week. The remnants of Agatha are just south of the shoreline of the Bay of Campeche. Models still not in great agreement of what will then happen as far as development and track. Euro ensemble still says the west coast of Florida and the GFS says nothing really developing as it moves just south of the Keys. The Gulf will remain a hostile zone with strong wind shear and dry air, so no threats to us!
