Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for military aid but said details of Ukraine's tactics will remain hidden from Russia. Zelenskiy, in his nightly video address, said Ukraine was ready to defend itself while "occupiers thought they were coming to Ukraine which they saw before in 2014 and 2015." "We're working more in silence," he said with regards to defense strategies including peace negotiations. He also said Ukraine has captured Russian troops "some who refuse to go back to Russia" while death notices he said have been sent to their homes "while they are alive in our captivity." Zelenskiy also warned foreign mercenaries recruited for Russian military would be better having a "long life rather than money offered for a short life." The Ukrainian president added that a government lending program would provide companies as much as 60 million hryvnia, or $2 million. The loans would be zero-interest until one month after the end of the war. Then, the annual interest rate would be set at 5%, he added.
