March 8, 2022: U.S to ban Russian oil, Oil prices rise, Zelenskiy to address UK lawmakers, Xi Jinping urges ‘maximum restraint,’ Florida anti-LGBTQ bill 1. The White House is expected to impose a ban on U.S. imports of oil from Russia as punishment for the invasion of Ukraine, Democratic U.S. Senator Chris Coons said. 2.
