More than 1,200 people were evacuated after a fire broke out in a Hong Kong building. Everyone inside, including about 350 people earlier trapped on the rooftop of the World Trade Centre — a shopping-and-office complex in the Causeway Bay district — was led to safety Wednesday afternoon, a Hong Kong police spokesperson said. The fire was first reported at 12:37 p.m. and was upgraded to a level-three incident — on a scale of five — about half an hour later, according to a government statement. Twelve people felt unwell and were sent to the hospital as of 3:39 p.m. The building is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd.  Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/2TwO8Gm Subscribe to our newest channel Quicktake Explained: https://bit.ly/3iERrup Bloomberg Quicktake brings you live global news and original shows spanning business, technology, politics and culture.
