The Supreme Court declined to hear a case about whether schools should allow transgender students to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity. The case concerned Gavin Grimm, a transgender boy from Virginia, who sued his school for not allowing him to use the boys' restroom in 2015 and won both of his lower court appeals.
