On today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds 44 percent of voters said some families who are eligible to receive the new child tax credit included in the American Rescue Plan do not need it while 30 percent said some families who need it are not eligible to receive it, and 26 percent said it is going to exactly the parents who need it. Dritan Nesho, CEO and chief pollster at HarrisX, joins Hill TV to discuss. This survey was conducted online within the United States from June 7 - 8 among 839 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 3.18 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age, gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, education, ideology and area type where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
