Congressional leaders have agreed on the creation of a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot, which would be composed of 10 members and have a Dec. 31 deadline to present a full report on "the facts and causes of the attack, along with recommendations to prevent future attacks on our democratic institutions."
