Try a fake 'shrimp' taco this Cinco de Mayo | New York Post
Spice up your Cinco de Mayo with a vegan shrimp taco. On this episode of “Would You Eat It?” food lovers sample a plant-based “shrimp” product, which looks and feels surprisingly like seafood. “It looks like it wants to be a shrimp taco,” chef Adrienne Calvo said.
Vegan Shrimp Tacos:
Ingredients:
● 3ea Sophie's Kitchen Vegan Shrimp
● 1 Blue Corn Tortilla
● 1/2oz White Cabbage
● 1tsp brunoise pineapple
● 1tsp brunoise Papaya
● 1/2tsp brunoise Jalapeno
● 1oz Avocado Mousse
Cilantro leaves to garnish
Step 1:
Chop up your tomato, cabbage, papaya, and jalapeno. Step 2:
Air fry Sophie’s Vegan Shrimp
Step 3:
Build your taco, garnish with cilantro and avocado mousse.
