(Mar. 3) There have been more deaths in Myanmar - after security forces opened fire on pro-democracy protesters. In Mandalay, several people were killed - after teachers and students gathered to demonstrate against the coup. This despite the military telling its forces not to use live ammunition as international condemnation grows. Despite authorities' increasingly brutal crackdown, demonstrators have continued to flood the streets and are beginning to more rigorously resist attempts to disperse them.
