The White House is taking a measured response to the sexual harassment allegations against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, insisting it supports the investigation led by the New York attorney general but refuses to say whether President Joe Biden believes Cuomo should step down. Asked about the allegations Monday at the White House briefing, press secretary Jen Psaki said "the president's view has been consistent and clear, that every woman coming forward should be treated with dignity and respect." Psaki noted the investigation which will be led by the state attorney general and said "we certainly support that process and we'll wait to see that through." Psaki said Biden "has a bar for what is expected in his administration" and that is treating people with civility and respect.
