House impeachment managers continued to argue their case Wednesday that former President Donald Trump not only foresaw the violence that erupted at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, he incited it and encouraged it. Del. Stacey Plaskett of the U.S. Virgin Islands told Senators Trump incited a mob to storm the Capitol "when he ran out of nonviolent means to stop the election." "Once assembled, that mob, at the president's direction, "erupted into bloodiest attack" on the Capitol in more than 200 years. She said the attack was not planned in silence but was the culmination of months of cultivating a crowd bent on violence. "He had every reason to know that they were armed, that they were violent and they would actually fight," she said.
