Greeting Pence on the tarmac were Georgia Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. After the CDC briefing, Pence is scheduled to attend a rally for the two, who face runoff elections next month that will determine the balance of power in the Senate. President Donald Trump, who has continued to make unsubstantiated voter fraud claims, is expected to attend a rally in Georgia Saturday night with the senators.
