COVID-19 restrictions in the U.K. have curtailed the choice of open stores for Black Friday shoppers, but for essential items, in-store bargains were still an option. This footage shows a long line outside a Costco in Birmingham. In Texas, a line was seen outside a Walmart before sunrise on Black Friday, November 27. This footage, recorded at Walmart in McAllen, shows the line before the store opened on Friday morning. In Ardmore, Oklahoma, Black Friday shoppers braved a cold front to wait outside of GameStop on November 27. Dustin Wallace said he filmed this video of people camped out in front of GameStop in Ardmore at 5:30 am, when temperatures were about 47 F. The footage shows several people draped in blankets and sitting in chairs. Many gamers were willing to brave hours-long lines for the “highly coveted” PlayStation 5, which has been in high demand since its November 12 release.
