Kate Brown on Friday, Dr. Esther Choo of Oregon Health & Science University became choked up when she talked about the isolation of COVID-19 patients fighting for their lives and when she called on Oregonians to be “heroes” in the fight against coronavirus. Choo, who has 175,000 followers on Twitter, has been outspoken on social media about the need to take the pandemic seriously.
