Residents of southeast Florida saw a purple sky on Thursday, November 12, as the last of Tropical Storm Eta passed over the area on its way north. The National Weather Service warned of heavy rain and flooding as the storm moved over northern Florida on Thursday, bringing intense rain to much of the southeast.
