Joe Biden is the president-elect of the United States, as NBC News projected Saturday, but the results of the election won’t be finalized until January. In a controversial move, Trump has refused to concede the election and is mounting efforts to challenge ballot counts in multiple states, even as tabulation continues. Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue of Georgia demanded the resignation on Monday of their state’s elected Republican secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger.
